![]() Even if it was just the jingly noise and the Sea Emperor's face appearing, just SOMETHING to remind me that there was somebody else out there, waiting for me. For some reason, that made perfect sense to me. I can't even say how disappointed I was when I found out the Emperor wouldn't contact you in your sleep. The Sea Emperor is just such a significant character in the whole story of Subnautica that I was really, REALLY hoping there'd be a bit more interaction between them and the player, but the only interaction I found was the initial contact, the Disease Research Facility (or maybe it was the Thermal Plant) and then the Primary Containment Facility. They were trapped, just like me, but they were doing what they could to make things better, just like me. The Sea Emperor is the only other major character in the game and what an amazing character! I felt such a connection to them! They were a sole survivor, just like me, trying to fight this horrible disease, just like me. "Maybe if I use the bed I'll get a message in my sleep?" Nuh-uh. "Maybe if I find more of these Precursor Caches?" Nope. maybe if I go down to Blood Kept Zone I'll hear something?" No. It was the ONLY thing trying to talk to me in a sea full of death and monsters. ![]() CONSTANTLY hoping this thing would keep contacting me. Not one single bit of contact until the disease research facility. The first time I heard the Sea Emperor was about 5 hours in, when I was in / near the Aurora for the first time. I really, really, REALLY wish the Sea Emperor contacted you more times throughout the game via telepathy. I would return/ it seems expensive but you can totally make a day or more out of it: its value for money.I played through all of Subnautica since the Voice of the Deep update and I have one major piece of criticism / feedback that I really want to get across to the devs. There are some picnic tables in designated areas, but most tables were selfishly reserved by families by placing cool boxes and lunch boxes on the tables those of course were the shady ones so be aware that happens. Our second day saw us bringing a packed lunch. ![]() Our meal for family of four came to €60! Ice creams each came to €12. The queues were big, there is a fast pass and I think I would probably invest in one of we were to go back, so the children could go on more slides in the short ish time. Definitely enough to keep kids occupied even if they aren't talk enough for slides. Try and Sit in shaded area, or have a bag or a towel to sit on and hat and sunglasses as it get very hot and very sunny while waiting for the Shows (both shows are around 15-20mins with a gap of 10 mins) The slides aren't all accessible to small children, but there are smaller play areas and a family pool with different depths. The sealion show is good, we watched it three times over the two days but mainly because the dolphin show is right after and you need to be there to get good seats. You can hire lockers (€5 deposit and €5-10 payment for a range of sizes, we went for the €6 one fitted al of our stuff in (family of 4) You can also book dolphin experiences, including a photo with a dolphin (€20 each person) and photo with sea lion (€10) The bird show was fun, although short. I would recommend booking online and printing tickets at home, there's a free bus from Santa susanna (and other local areas) We also took advantage of the "come back for €10" and returned two days later. We booked through a tour operator locally. We were extremely disappointed with the whole experience and would strongly advise nobody to bother with this terrible park. Dolphins and whales should not be subjected to this and be kept like this for entertainment. I know it is contradictory to moan about this subject when we paid to access the park ( only for the use of the waterslides) but the Dolphins are kept in a pretty small swimming pool. It is the worst amusement/waterpark I have ever been to. This park is aimed at very small children so if you aren't with small children don't even bother with this rubbish park. The park is expensive for what it is, the rides were absolutely terrible as were the queues. Drinks including bottled water extremely overpriced. It might have been high season but the park was awfully crammed - hardly anywhere to find a spot to sit down. We left again after half an hour without even going on anything. Visited this park with a group of friends in our thirties.
